Dillie Keane

  • Centennial Vineyards Restaurant 252 Centennial Road Bowral, NSW, 2576 Australia (map)

Dillie Keane, founder of the international satirical cabaret trio Fascinating Aïda, is coming to Centennial for a one-off performance. Though supposed to be on holiday, the chance to showcase her quirky and often hilarious songs was too enticing to pass up. Accompanied by the marvellous Michael Tyack on piano, her take on life and love is cheerfully sour and gently savage, yet the beautiful music softens the blows. Expect the unexpected from a game old buzzard who refuses to age gracefully. Tender yet hilarious, melancholic yet furious, Dillie Keane’s songs speak of a lifetime fully, albeit not always sensibly, lived. Gorgeous songs of love stand alongside side-splitting tunes of disgraceful filth. Dillie will break your heart, mend it, and then have it sent off for ironing. And she’ll share her recipe for chutney while she’s at it.

As a part of Fascinating Aïda, Dillie has amassed over 25 million views on YouTube for their charming and now infamous takes on a variety of topics, from Cheap Flights, to Christmas, to Dillie’s notorious ode to dogging, which itself has garnered about 13 million views so far.

TICKETS: $125 per person - includes the show, two-course meal and a glass of wine.
