About Michael Robotham
Michael Robotham grew up in small country towns that had more dogs than people and more flies than dogs. He began his career as a cadet journalist and become an investigative reporter working in Britain, Australia and America. His first novel, The Suspect, introduced clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin, caused a bidding war at the London Book Fair, sold more than a million copies around the world and became a major TV series. His standalone thriller The Secrets She Keeps was also adapted for TV.
Michael is the only Australian to twice win the UK's prestigious Gold Dagger Award for best crime novel, for Life or Death and Good Girl, Bad Girl. He has won many awards, including the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for When She Was Good, and been shortlisted for many more, including for Lying Beside You and Storm Child. His books have been translated into 25 languages.
